Hunter X Hunter, Vol. 33 by Yoshihiro Togashi

3.0

This volume had a lot of talking and part of me wanted to drop it entirely and read something else but I chose to continue anyway because I really like this series. My interest piqued upon reading Chapter 350 where Kurapika meets one of the Princes and we learn the heinous truth behind their succession war. I am pretty excited about the Dark Continent arc because I know there’s going to be some epic battles mainly due to the dangers that lie await in the continent and the secret and not-so-secret alliances (I expect a healthy dose of betrayal, mind games and backstabbing). I’m anticipating how these relationships will change once the characters step foot in that mysterious land. I’m also happy that Kurapika and Leorio are back and get to be a part of this adventure, I really missed them (I wish Gon and Killua could join them too). Lastly, I’m very curious about Ging’s Nen abilities and can’t wait to see what makes him one of the top 5 Nen users.
