If only I could have as much joy reading every book there is as I’ve had with this one. The characters in this novel were funny and annoying, distinct and gripping, sweet and memorable. I especially enjoyed how the dialogue was written, and Reid‘s comments often made my chuckle. The novel has a rom-com type of feel to it - I could easily see it transferred to the big screen. It does have sappy moments and the plot isn’t all that surprising, but if you want a quick read that is easygoing and still might help you sort out all the things you worry about in your 20s and 30s, I‘d wholeheartedly recommend Melanie Murphy’s If Only - to make you feel a little less alone in this mad world.
