Another wonderful, flowing story; moving, emotional, profound, and strikingly realistic (and sometimes funny too!). I love Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s writing style: clear and fluid, with vivid descriptions of surroundings, thoughts, feelings and atmosphere. She never lingers too long in one scene, yet just long enough for the reader to feel everything deeply. The afterword moved me and gave the entire story a greater significance.
I recommend this book to everyone; if only because it tells a story from the perspective of four Black African women and their realities. It left me with many new insights.
