This was not my thing. I had heard good things about this author and I wanted to give the genre a try. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy this book. It was just a bit too creepy for me. I thought it would have a similar vibe to “I Who Have Never Known Men” which I did like. Unfortunately, I don’t think this did. I just found it super disturbing and it was a hit much for me. However, that is probably my fault as I have never read this genre before. Now I know it is not for me. I see why people who enjoy this genre would like it though because it does keep you asking questions. It’s also a very short, quick book.
