Hmmm I don’t really know what to say about this book! Yes, the strength of Ariadne and Phaedra was insanely inspiring and beautiful. Everything those two had to face in their short lives were just heartbreaking. I just didn’t quite understand the hype of the story. Don’t get me wrong... I love a good Greek mythology retelling (especially when it highlights women), but I just couldn’t seem to connect with these characters! I think the storyline was a tidge bit slow for me in the middle of the book, so I just became uninterested. Not to mention the end just seemed rushed. Idk maybe I should read it one more time to see what I am missing!
