It’s like everything I accomplished six months ago means nothing now. Like I’m the exact same girl who stayed in that blood bath for hours, dreading her Calling.

I really liked this as a second book! The story was tied up really well. I knew something was up with
Eli and I even figured he might be Luc’s machine
. I can’t (but can) believe that
Johan
really did all of that! It’s so sad! I really felt so bad she was so alone with such huge responsibilities and not enough guidance. I’m glad everything worked out the way it did!
