This book blew me away. It’s the first book in a new series by Maren, and I am SO excited to see who we’ll get to meet as the series continues!!

The MCs are ones that will stay with me for a LONGGGG time. Saint is the definition of bad boy, in every single way you could think of. Lennon is his exact opposite- perfection drips from her. But the more we learn about these two, the more we realize that what’s underneath each of their facades is a lot deeper than what it seems.

Lennon is a figure skater who has been groomed by her father to be the perfect future trophy-wife. When she learns how to stand on her own two feet, that girl STANDS.

Saint has a LOT of trauma in his past, including parental abuse. He never lets anyone in because he doesn’t want to be vulnerable with anyone.

But when these two come together, its FIREWORKS. First the kind that spark from hate, but little by little, they turn to understanding a love.

I LOVE the fake dating trope, and Maren DELIVERS. Saint’s redemption arc is one of the BEST I’ve EVER READ.

The one thing I’ll warn you with is that this book is SPI-CY. Just know that going into it. But the plot is amazing and even if you skip the spice, it’s still an amazing read!!

Thank you to Valentine PR and Maren Moore for the gifted ARC. All opinions are my own.
