I put this down months and ago at 75% and finally picked it up and pushed through to the end. It started out so strong but couldnâ€™t keep it together - there were so many types of otherborn, too many people introduced too quickly that I struggled to keep track of, it just felt so complicated. There is such incredible potential here, one of the most intriguing worlds Iâ€™ve seen built in YA. Maybe it was me and not the book.

Also, I think it would have been better without the romance entirely.
