And I Darken
by Kiersten White
Dark, dark, dark. This book pulls no punches. This reimagining of Vlad Dracul's life in the form of Lada is quite stunning. White manages to make Lada a bit sympathetic, despite her dark nature. The book is creative and engaging, and I can't wait to read the next.
