Suicide Notes by Michael Thomas Ford
4.0

I could not put this book down. It was raw, and I related maybe a little too much to the dark humor that Jeff, the main character and narrator, uses. I really love the honesty of this book. It does well not to glamorize the topics of suicide, mental health, sexuality, and loss while making them relatable and real. The themes of this story are challenging, but they are things people on this Earth deal with, and I loved reading the perspective of healing while showcasing that not everyone gets a happy ending.
SpoilerRest in peace, sweet Sadie.
