This one was interesting - soooo many different perspectives than we’ve had previously in the series, and missing quite a few of the main players. At first, this was annoying, but as time went on I came to understand the themes of the books more. The realm is destroyed, leaving beyond scraps of land and people - the titular feast for crows! And I think that’s really cool actually and smart writing - of course after the large war there’s a power vacuum and these small factions try to fill it, and I’m glad Martin decided to show us this instead of just focusing on the stories he always had!
