Man, I absolutely fucking LOVE this world. These characters are so precious to me in a way that I haven't experienced since I was a young girl reading Harry Potter. I love every single one of them. Even the villains!
Leigh Bardugo is a genius and one of my all-time favorite authors. I will never not buy one of her books, honestly. Her ships are immaculate. Her slow burn is SO GOOD. Her command of language is amazing. And even if she kills off characters who don't deserve it (MULTIPLE TIMES, HELLO?) I will always be her #1 fan.
Sure, this book dragged a bit at spots, but I think it all came together so well. I loved the storylines and how they all tied off. And I will be the first in line for a preorder when Six of Crows #3 comes out lol.
Zoyalai beat out Kaz/Inej and Nina/Matthais for my top ship. I will never not think about those two. My heart aches for Genya, forever, and I felt meh about Nina's new arc in this series in the first book, but really loved it here. I'm just so happy for all of them. I love them so dearly.
