".. what a feeling it must be, being loved by someone else, exactly as you are, quirks and warts and all.."

Firstly, did I plan to read this book? No I did not.
Do I, however, feel absolutely stupid for not finding and reading it sooner? Absolutely.

If you take the sunshine and happy, optimistic and free spirited Elle, who is a firm believer that the stars can help you understand yourself and who, despite her bad luck in dating, is set on finding her soulmate.

And you mix that with level headed, logical thinking and hard working Darcy, Darcy who has been hurt in the past by someone she loved and who's mother is not the best example of how to do relationships.
Darcy who is definitely not looking for love, even less so in the beautiful blonde who seems far too immersed in astrology and the stars and who spilled wine on her favorite dress after being late to their date...

There is absolutely no way things could go anywhere with two people who are such opposites of each other... Right?

If only Darcy hadn't convinced her brother that she and Elle hit things off.
If only spending more time with Elle made her feel more than she had in a long time.
If only Elle's laugh didn't consume her every thought.

This book was absolutely beautiful and I could not have picked a better one to start my pride month inspired reading with.

As far as debut novels goes, this one is hands down, one of the best I've read.
