Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir

4.0

I really enjoyed gideon the ninth for the most part!! The beginning was a little hard for me to get into and I didnt really like the way the world building was shown but once I got a better idea of the setting it was easier to digest. The writing isnt too advanced and is actually very modern imo with the jokes used and the way the characters act which i dont usually find in fantasy novels.

I felt like things could’ve progressed faster or that more interesting things could’ve taken place leading up to last third of the book but it didnt bother me that much.

I liked most of the characters (Gideon <3) and i absolutely loved gideon nd harrow together!! this is what i mean when i want enemies to lovers (could you even call them lovers? im calling them lovers idc)

Overall the story felt very animated which kept me mostly entertained despite some minor setbacks nd im excuse to continue the series one day!!!!
