Oh. My. God (in Janice's voice). I was enraptured from the first paragraph and I physically could not put my Kindle down.
Wolfgang and Victoria have similar backgrounds but have their defenses up and rightfully so. Victoria is the second daughter who spends her days riding horses and dealing with neglectful, crappy parents. Wolfgang has a power struggle between him and his stepmom and half brother. Families, right?
I couldn't help but gasp at Wolfgang's audacity at certain parts, smirk when Victoria fought back, giggled at the banter and barbs, and pant when reading the spicy scenes. Their relationship went through it but the growth and ending made Darkest Craving one of my favorite reads of the year.
*The biggest thank you to Rhea for the early copy!
