strong start but the back and forth storytelling with the past and present hinders the story’s progress imo. really great job of making palpatine a creepy old man and highlighting all the issues with his relationship with anakin. the plotline on carnelion had some great moments but felt a bit thin overall and the ending was so abrupt and disjointed I thought I was missing pages. anakin’s thoughts on leaving the order also felt underdeveloped, as did his decision to stay
