I really enjoyed this book! It’s about two teenagers who secretly develop a relationship, against the wishes of their families, who have a longstanding rivalry because they own competing pho restaurants. The pacing of this story was just perfect, it really felt like a realistic portrayal of teenagers falling for each other. I don’t always enjoy descriptions of food in fiction books, but it worked really well in this, and I felt like it added a lot to the story. This is a great YA novel and I definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys the YA genre.
