I’m going to be honest, it took me a good 80 pages or so to actually start liking it and during this time I considered that I might DNF the book, but I so glad I pushed through. This is a very weird book and I mean that in the best possible way. I was confused a lot of the time and went back and reread many passages and chapters again to help me fully grasp what was going on. There is probably loads of things that went over my head or I still don’t fully understand, but by the time I was finished I felt like I had been on a journey and didn’t realise until I was flipping the last page just how much I was moved by it.

I will definitely be checking out more of King’s work in the future.
