Review:
Once I got passed the giggles about this being an Orc Romantasy, I was wildly surprised at how good this book actually was.
This book follows the journey of Sorcha, a fiery redheaded female, who is kidnapped and sold to a clan of brutal Orcs. Except not all of them are as horrible as she expected. Orek, a halfling (half orc & half human), finds Sorcha in the Orc camp and vows to rescue her. After helping her escape the orc camp the two journey north to reunite Sorcha with her family. Their journey is not easy though & is full of treacherous terrain, human traders, and orc hunting parties.
Each trial brings them closer together. Sorcha discovers that there is MUCH ;) more to Orek than his bright green skin & Orek discovers….well you’ll need to read the book to find out. Needless to say, things get steamy & not just in the hot springs.
I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this book & look forward to reading the next one in the series.
