This book. Oh my goddess, this book. Alyssa Cole is so freaking talented!
This is the second book in her Loyal League series and I actually enjoyed this book even more than the first. This is due, in large part, to the main characters, Marlie and Ewan. My heart latched onto both of them so hard, especially Marlie, who was so competent that it made me cheer.
The inner emotional journeys the characters go on is so beautifully written. I'm having trouble putting into words how/why this book is amazing, but it just is! 😂
