Woah. I can't even talk about this book without spoilers but damn did Carlton surprise me. Haunted houses terrify me in general, but I was completely enthralled by Sibel and her murdering "demons" in her haunted house. I absolutely loved it.
Sibel, this poor girl has had a very rough life up until this point. Her 5 henchmen are there to support her and I love them. Let me tell you the devastation I felt for her when she finds out they aren't real. Her brain made them up as a coping mechanism. I literally didn't see that twist coming, and now I'm like what other hints were there that Sibel was the only one who could see them??
I also want to know Zade's story. What you up to bro?
The ending was perfection. I can't wait to try more of Carlton's writing.
