Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - Parts One and Two by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne

5.0

To be honest, I'm really biased to all thing Harry Potter, so I probably gave an extra start where it might have been a 4-star book. I was actually pretty nervous about reading a play, which is probably why I put this off for so long, but I'm really really glad I finally picked it up.

While I agree at points there feels a disconnect between the original books and the play, and that, at times the writing is a little questionable, what I loved about this book were the little moments that helped will some of the gaps, or wonderings I had post series conclusion.

I loved being able to see some extra interactions with snape for example, and I loved how some of the classic characters were weaved into the play. Most of all I really loved Scorpius, what a delightfully adorable character.
