I wasn’t entirely pleased with the ending (I was expecting something different), but it’s still a 5 star read for me. Ruth Ozeki has beautiful prose, and I genuinely cared about all the main characters… She addresses many difficult topics with practiced ease, and it definitely changed the way I view life
Graphic: Suicidal thoughts, Suicide, Suicide attempt, War, Physical abuse, and Bullying
