But He's My Grumpy Neighbor by Annah Conwell

4.0

"As if I wasn't already hopelessly falling for him, he has to go and win over my dog too."
-Juliette Munroe, But He's My Grumpy Neighbor by Annah Conwell

A cute, darling romance! I adored the sweet, small community setting of cottages around a lake and the soft, gentle pace of this story. The FMC, Juliette, was tenderhearted and I loved her quirkiness and backstory. Pairing her with a seemingly grouchy MMC, Adrian, was the perfect mix of grumpy/sunshine. The dynamic between Adrian and his family was fun and often hilarious. In addition, I enjoyed the romance which had a touch of slow burn but felt oh, so right and had the perfect amount of swoon. Overall, a charming read from a new-to-me author and definite recommendation. I will be returning for more of the Carter Brothers in the future!

CW + TW: Clean and Wholesome, G Rating. Toxic parental relationship (lightly touched on), loss of parent and grief.
