This book is unbearably boring. I read 11 pages and wanted to tear my hair out. I read random pages throughout the book to see if it got interesting and it didn’t. It’s just a boring brick that’s inundated with horrific imagery of abuse.

Also, based on the text, the author thinks that people with trauma should just commit suicide instead of seeking therapy, given that Jude goes through horrific trauma, works past it, gets unconditional love from others, and it still says in the text that he was “right” to kill himself at the end because it was the only way to deal with his trauma. I wouldn’t recommend giving your money to support them anyway, I already regret that I did before I found that out. Fucking disgusting.
