This is dark, twisted, messed up and horrible.
I laughed, cried, had my heart ripped to shreds, screamed, wanted to puke and then had my heart peiced back together.
This story is not for the faint hearted, it is triggering (even if you have no triggers), but Amo writes this trauma with so much respect and how she writes Jade's character and the journey, strength and freedom I have to applaud.

This is a brutal book, and the awful part is that this happens in real life daily. I think Amo chose to write this topic to open the readers eyes on how black and white the world is and that in fact sometimes the supposedly monsters are in fact the good guys and the good guys are in fact the real monsters.

I'm glad Jade got the ending she deserves. I'm glad the other girls will too.
