3.5 stars rounded up. I enjoyed this book overall. Rory is “The Main Character” if best selling author, Genevra Ex’s, new book. Genevra treats Rory, her brother Max, ex-fiancée Nathan, and best friend Caroline, to a three day trip on the Orient Express to celebrate the books completion. But Genevra has more planned for the group than she’s let on. But all is revealed in her new book.
I loved travelling through Italy in this book. The scenery and locations described were amazing. The train ride was also very enjoyable.
What I didn’t like was that each chapter was told by another character so I had to flip a lot to remember who was speaking. And then we got Genevra’s backstory in between. There was just alot of stories and a lot of perspectives that got quite tangled at times.
But everything came together at the end, and I was very satisfied with the ending.
