The Rosie Effect
by Graeme Simsion
I started this one immediately after finishing The Rosie Project, which I enjoyed immensely and found quite humorous. The Rosie Effect stressed me out! The lack of communication was irritating as was the unethical practices by the social worker and brushes with the law. I know the point was to add to the humor and two married people not communicating is a common thing, but the whole plot felt unnecessary since the conflict could be easily fixed by talking with one another honestly. If I could go back, I would just stop at the first book.
