Heart Bones by Colleen Hoover

5.0

Reread 2021: still love this one. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

Original review:

Gah. I absolutely grew a heart bone reading this book. My heart was shatter then mended back together like Kintsugi art. Like so many of CoHo’s books, this left a scar but an absolutely beautiful one. Heart Bones is a story of trauma and the forces that are out of our control but still finding hope, joy and goodness. It's about the wild, vast beauty of the ocean and that sense of wonder that sparks in our soul. It's about complicated humans and life. And love. It was moving. I already want to reread.
