Pride and Prejudice

Pride and Prejudice
So, there‘s a lot of dancing, talking, guessing what others might think. Assuming things and did I mention dancing?
Sometime‘s it is like I Imagine The tv show Gossip Girl to be.
I kinda liked it. It was like a window into another time.
But, I didn‘t like Mr. Collins.
No means no Mr. Collins!
And then, after finally accepting the no for what it is, he falls in love with another woman the next day and asks for her hand in marriage. How romantic.
This is truly better than any modern soap opera.
The youngest daughter elopes and everyone goes after her to persuade her and the guy to marry to not bring shame on the family.
The mother likes the money and societal standing of her sons in law more than the actual persons.
This is absolutely great.
As for the love story, I really liked how Lizzy and Mr. Darcy found each other.
Sometimes though I‘m not sure what kind of book I‘m reading:
„She has a very good notion of fingering“
And what about the letters?
Not „With best regards“ do letter end but with „etc“
And now, go on and read this if you‘re into romances of olden times
