You know what I've noticed? This series is VERY similar to TVD. The ships are the closest to TVD dynamics I've ever read. Examples:

Scarlet / Tristan - Delena

Gabriel / Heather - Steroline

-------------------------------------------

Not as good as book two. My biggest issue with this book were, ironically enough, the falshbacks. The very same flashbacks that made me like book two so much more. But here, most of them wetre unecessary and repetative and I especially didn't like that they were all in one place and it took half the book to get to the present part, the only part I was interested in here. I really don't know what the author was thinking with writing the flashbacks all in one place like that, but it didn't work. And even the present part wasn't as entertaining as in book two for me. Heather got on my nerves a little here, whereas I thought she was fun in the second book. Gabriel I got a bit irritated with in some of the flashbacks. The MC was just meh for me. Tristan I still really liked, but his (non) relatiosnip with Scarlet in the flashbacks felt a lot repetative to me. And Nate, sweet Nate was fun as always.
SpoilerAnd deserved better!

The plot wasn't as captivating to me as in the second book. It was also really predictable, as well as was the ending. Also, confusing as fuck epilogue. Stil better than book one though. Overall, I don't really have any strong feelings towards this series.
