Flappy Entertains by Santa Montefiore

Nothing like other books I have read by this author and initially I wasn’t sure if I was going to bother finishing it. There is a certain, annoying charm about the main character - Flappy. Someone like her in reality would be most annoying. She reminded me a lot of Mrs ‘Bouquet’ in Keeping up Appearances’ and that might have made Flappy more palatable. I don’t know if I would read any other books in which Flappy appears but this was light entertainment after reading a more serious book.
