Saw this on the Today show of all things, and then some article on THR about Reese Witherspoon's production company already buying the rights to it for a movie. It seems like anything remotely suspenseful or disturbing at this point is compared to Gillian Flynn, and this is no exception. I read it in a few hours -- the antagonist TifAni is a lot like most Flynn characters. Pretty much unlikable, pretty much impossible to stop reading about. It was as compelling as it was disturbing. I don't regret reading it but I was so glad when it was over. Still wasn't half as bad as Dark Places was ...AHHHHH
