maureen johnson i’ve missed you!! YA mysteries will forever get me out of any reading slump, ever. the romance was questionable (plot-wise, not morally) and idk if i would’ve gone that way, but i’m not mad about it. i really liked most of the characters, but would’ve liked them to be more fleshed out. marlowe was cute! i’m glad this MC was a lesbian and many of the side characters were casually queer. 

i have no idea how a teenager was able to kill a grown woman and drag her body around?? i’m assuming the victim was very small and light?? idk i’m not looking into it too much bc i don’t care !!
