Mrs. Dalloway
by Virginia Woolf
Oh. I had rather hoped to love this book, and at times I did find it stirring, but on the whole, it was just too much for me. One long stream of consciousness, shifting from one person's inner monologue to another's, with no rest, no breaks. I found it hard to follow and it wasn't until the end, the connections and relationships finally being made real to me, that I cared.
