This was such a fun and fast read. I knew this was popular when it came out and as far as thrillers go, I can see why.
Lisa Jewell left no downtime in this book. Every page was packed with detail. I felt as close to the characters as I could be, despite Alix but I also think that was intentional for the character development.
My favorite thing about None Of This Is True is that even after the ending, I still am not sure what is true and what is not. The title really says it all.*Spoilers* Did Josie twist and manipulate everyone and everything? Was she telling the truth and her daughters are to blame? Even with Alix. After Nathan was killed and local media covered his funeral, he was portrayed as a saint, but we know that is not the whole truth. He was a heavy drinker, might have done drugs, who knows what he doesn't remember and could have done on his benders. No matter what, you have no idea what is true in this story and what is a lie, stretch or misrememberance.
I was in a bit of a reading slump, just couldn't get through books at a good pace, nothing was grabbing my attention, etc. None Of This Is True helped right the ship and I am back in true reading form!
