What was once just a year-long challenge has turned into a subset of my reading! Books from the past has been fun and great for light reads since most of them has been children's lit.
We are still in the books that I remember pretty clearly. The movie, the series. This was always covered since it's early so I recalled the story beats but it was like a new read in other ways. I'm still enjoying the writing style and tone. With Tim Curry as the narrator, I find myself chuckling at times with line delivery. Very tongue in cheek. I appreciate that these books also teach words and phrases throughout, giving in-context definitions. Some are better than others, though.
