Ok I've had enough.  The story was so intriguing, but even as an avid horror reader: WTAF.  This doesn't feel like a thriller.  I'm just over the graphic descriptions of despicable things that seem utterly gratuitous.  Honestly, if you don't want to read play-by-play or some serious content warning bullshit (which I'm normally ok with when meaningful) for 20 hours, just skip.  It may have been great if half as long.  I have enjoyed previous books by this author, however even at 65% I'm just so tired.  I'll look for spoilers on the ending and quit here.
