First off, Happy Pub Day to this stunning book!šŸ˜. Iā€™m so glad I finished reading this yesterday and my review is right on time for Pub Day!.

Reading a book in a day is always such a big deal for me because my attention span is not exactly great. Once I picked up this book, I couldnā€™t drop it except for when I had to sleep. When I finished it, I had to pause to acknowledge the sheer brilliance of the author. I mean, itā€™s almost unreal whenever I remember that Iā€™ve read over 20 titles by her and thereā€™s not one I didnā€™t enjoy.

Fiyin is Erinā€™s sister from The One (another book by the author) . I didnā€™t think Iā€™d be interested in reading the story of a proud and conceited woman, but Iā€™m so glad we got her story. It was so exciting to go on her journeys with her (pun intended)šŸ˜.

The vivid imagery absolutely blew my mind!šŸ˜. I could picture all of Fiyinā€™s outfits and Rahimā€™s private jet. The character development is also *chefā€™s kiss*.

I donā€™t say it enough, but I really love it when I get to see how characters from another  book in a series are faring. I get to know how life is for them at the moment, so it always feels like reuniting with old friendsā¤ļø.

Fiyin and Goriolaā€™s love story is an unconventional but beautiful one. Theirs is a love that is patient and steadfast. Theyā€™re older than your regular protagonists in a romance novel and I love that. Age is nothing but a numberā¤ļø.

I appreciate how this book sheds light on the dangers of a lot of womenā€™s total financial dependency on their partners. Quite a number of men leverage on that to hold women captive and itā€™s always so sad to see. I hope more women will be able to break free from the shackles of financial abuse.

More than anything, I love that this book portrays the importance of self-love. You cannot give anybody what you donā€™t have . It was so beautiful to see Fiyinā€™s journey to self-discoveryā¤ļø.

I can go on and on about my love for this book, but I donā€™t want to drop spoilers.  Thank you to the author for sending me an ARC of this book. I really enjoyed reading it and I highly recommend !šŸ’•.
