Rebels at Sea: Privateering in the American Revolution by Eric Jay Dolin, Eric Jay Dolin

hopeful informative inspiring medium-paced

4.25

I’ve always heard privateering mentioned but reading this book, I realized I never really dove into the topic. The book offered a good background and defined some important vocabulary before diving into the topic.
I enjoyed the flow of the book, with narrative stories spaces in throughout the facts. The Continental Navy has there oft told stories but I hadn’t heard of many of the privateers though their stories are just as interesting.
