Crazy and Convoluted, This Was a Scottish Soap Opera

This book was a mixed bag of instalove with a long convoluted melodramatic plot including ridiculous backstories, problematic virginity fixation, amnesia, rapey pirates and ow drama.
The narration was good but the rest was pretty silly. If you like soapy, ott stories set in Scotland with a brawny hero, this works. It was entertaining in its own way, just make sure your brain is turned firmly to off mode.
