informative reflective medium-paced

Content wise, this book runs the gamut of different interior topics. Loved the microbiomes, schools, prisons, and smart home chapters. The book is super well researched, approachable, and readable. It remains lighthearted on something that could be viewed as not so exciting. I learned a lot and enjoyed it overall!

That being said, I’m definitely not a fan of the colonizing other planets conversation. I felt this was a little out of the blue from the rest of the book, but as the others the chapter was well-written and researched. Additionally, the use of sooo many (asides in parentheses) was incredibly distracting, especially when most of these items could’ve just stood in the paragraphs as usual.

But! Overall a neat and enjoyable book for anyone interested in the built environment!
