The Last Lie Told
by Debra Webb
There are two storylines in The Last Lie Told, which follows investigator Finley O'Sullivan who is looking into new evidence in an old murder case while dealing with her own trauma of being attacked and her husband being killed.
Finley's professional story is wrapped up by the end of this book but Webb has just scraped the surface of her personal story. I've read Debra Webb's The Undertaker's Daughter series which I loved and have a feeling this series will be just as good if the second book focuses more on Finley's personal life because I believe that is where the "good story" lives.
I'm giving The Last Lie Told 3 stars for setting the stage and will be picking up The Nature of Secrets to see what happens to with Finley next.
Thank you to Netgalley and Thomas & Mercer for an advanced reader's copy in exchange for an honest review.
