Again the second part to this story was no better. I read the second book even though I wasn't invested in the characters or the story just because I hoped something would happen to catch my attention. But no, the same boring dialogue of Shay being a controlling, mentally abusive step brother and Mina being a whiny little brat who should have took the out with Keenan when she had the chance. How does someone grow up for years being part of an MC family but be completely blind to what goes on is just too naive to be believable even in a fictional story. I read this in a couple of hours because I ended up skipping and skim reading most of the fluff bits and only reading the actual interaction of characters. I really don't get the hype for these books.
