There are no words for the emotions in this book. I was hesitant to read it because I just wasn't sure I could handle the taboo subject. June First is a story of love, loss, childhood innocence, and redemption.  You feel every emotion each character feels as if the love and heartache are real.  At the end you will definitely know that love and tragedy are exactly what makes life and this story remarkable.
