That's Not My Name by Megan Lally

emotional fast-paced

5.0

I'm not ready to give a non-emotional review; this book wrecked me.

It was incredible, truly. But I NEEDED a happy ending. I NEEDED Lola to be ok. The dual POV lulled me into a false sense of security and wrong expectations.

I can honestly say I have NEVER cried that hard reading a book. I was so unprepared for Lola to be gone. The ending was wonderful, and incredibly hopeful, but I am still reeling from "Mary" not being Lola.
