I haven’t read a book from the Alex Cross series in a while (about 2 years) and starting this book brought me back to the life of Alex Cross, his family and heinous crimes that can be and have been committed by persons. Alex Cross, his former partner Sampson and FBI agent Maloney are tracking a killer who appears to be copying cases from Cross and Sampson’s past. This book  shows Alex at his best and worse as the killer, M, gets under Alex’s skin….did Alex put an innocent man in prison?
