Another wonderful addition to this series. Leaving me with more questions than answers in terms of the plot/world 😂

I don’t know if it’s the fact that I’ve read these four books in succession or what, but Shane and Marguerite felt a little forced to me. Thinking back to the previous books…I’m gonna bet it’s the fact that I’ve devoured them all so quickly. I just really loved Marguerite in Paladin’s Grace and felt the tiniest dulling of her sass and spark…I don’t know.


This series and these characters lend so many different examples and examinations of humanity. I gladly await the next installment.
