Girls and Their Monsters: The Genain Quadruplets and the Making of Madness in America by Audrey Clare Farley

3.0

I was expecting this book to be about the Morlok quadruplets and their lives. It was that, but there was a lot about the history of schizophrenia, racism, and other things that didn't really fit. The part about Satanic Panic was an odd thing to include. The parts about the sisters were interesting and I wish the book had focused on them. It was difficult to read at times as it was rather boring. This is a decent book, but I wish more of the focus had just been on the sisters and their family.
