This book was like having a friend or someone who cares for me, talk some sense into me. Just honest, straightforward advice. What's inside is definitely helpful for building character, get some shit done and stop fantasizing about your expected life. It also cuts your excuses and the pattern of constantly looking for motivation in order to do something.

Some of the ideas are simple but have a powerful impact. Of course the concepts are not new by any means, these are common knowledge for thousands of years, but is sure as hell you need the right voice to make you listen. Each needs to hear and feel the message in a certain way, so this book does exactly that: delivers a message in it's own style.

A good book to read if you are not into the 'american' style of personal development. This is more down to earth and similar to what you would hear on everyday life from someone who really cares about you, or maybe it's something you tell yourself many times. It can even be the voice of reason.

Definitely worth reading from my perspective.
